Data Literacy Cultivation Practices and Enlightenment for University Librarians——Case Study Based on Foreign Libraries
[Purpose/Significance]Data literacy is the core professional competence of university librarians.The researchers both at home and abroad are continue to explore appropriate ways to cultivate librarians'data literacy.In this respect,China is still in the initial stage.To investigate and study the practice of data literacy cultivation of university librarians abroad and summarize the experience is conducive to improving the quality of cultivation and the ability of librarians.[Method/Process]This study selected 12 foreign cases in librarian data literacy cultivation on 3P education model and 5W theory of communication,conducted research from three aspects of presage,process and result,and sum-marized enlightenment.[Result/Conclusion]The study constructs a general model for the cultivation of librarian's data literacy and puts forward specific suggestions from the cultivation subject,object,content,method and result.
