[Purpose/Significance]In the context of collaborative governance in cyberspace,social media users par-ticipate in the misinformation control through multiple ways.However,the effectiveness of public participation remains unknown.This study aims to investigate the influence of user comment on the effect of misinformation correction,con-sidering it as an injunctive norm,in order to provide practical implications for its management and online misinformation control.[Method/Process]This study applied a questionnaire-based between-subject experiment with 2*2*2 condition(N=307)to investigate the effect of user comment(i.e.,position,informativeness and incivility)on the perceived credi-bility of rumor denials and misinformation belief related to HPV vaccination.[Result/Conclusion]The results show that supportive comments significantly increase the credibility of correction and enhance the positive attitude towards vacci-nation,suggesting a synergistic effect of user comment on misinformation correcting.The informativeness and incivility of user comment exert insignificant moderation effect,indicating that the synergistic effect of user comments is rigorous.Finally,informativeness and incivility jointly make a direct influence on misinformation belief.
