Challenges and Opportunities of Archival Work in the Digital Intelligence Environment
[Purpose/Significance]Based on the digital intelligence environment,this paper explored the challenges and opportunities faced by archival work.After that,this paper explored the concept and practice of smart archives,so that promote the archival industry digital transformation and intelligent upgrading.[Method/Process]Through literature review,problem analysis,and theoretical exploration,this paper revealed the four challenges faced by archival work in the digital environment,that is,resource"scissors gap",technological"hot and cold haze",management"weak balance",and humanistic"adaptation".It proposed that the construction of smart archives was a new opportunity for innovative de-velopment of archival work in the digital intelligence era,and further explained the conceptual characteristics,framework elements,and construction path of smart archives.[Result/Conclusion]Smart archives are new forms of archive informa-tization in the digital intelligence era.It is necessary to uphold strategic orientation,resource orientation,people-oriented orientation,problem orientation,and goal orientation,so as to promote the digitization of archive resources,intelligence of archive management,intelligence of archive services,and digitalization of the archive industry through planning guid-ance,institutional guarantee,digital intelligence drive,culture immersion,and stable maintenance.
