Exploration of the Data Literacy Education Model in the Social Science Data Platform
[Purpose/Significance]This study explores the data literacy education model in the social science data platform and the practical experience from it.It offers reference and guidance for libraries to develop system-atic and specialized data education in the humanities and social sciences in the future.[Method/Process]The arti-cle selected 12 representative foreign typical social science data platforms as research cases and collected relevant information on data literacy education on these platforms through online surveys and literature research.By using case study and comparative research,the data literacy education models were analyzed from four aspects:educa-tional goals,content,format,and participants,aiming to provide valuable insights for data literacy education in libraries.[Result/Conclusion]According to the results,the selected platform cases have basically formed complete education models that encompass clear educational goals,comprehensive educational content,diverse educational formats,and integrated educational participants.This has certain reference value for libraries to develop new educa-tion models with the focus on users,building upon existing resources and services.
