Study on the Activation and Utilization of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Chinese Public Libraries from the Perspective of Cultural Inheritance
[Purpose/Significance]Intangible cultural heritage is an important part of the Chinese excellent tra-ditional culture.It is also a vivid testimony to the continuous inheritance of the Chinese civilization.This study aims to explore the status quo,problems and challenges of intangible cultural heritage work in public libraries,which will implement the original goal of"protecting and sustaining civilization"and accelerate the inheritance and pro-motion of Chinese civilization.[Method/Process]This study uses the web survey method to investigate the intan-gible cultural heritage work of 1 302 first-level public libraries in China.It also summarizes the practical experience and challenges of library intangible cultural heritage work in terms of space,resources,service and management.[Result/Conclusion]From the activation of space,resource,service and management,it systematically constructs the optimization path of the activation and utilization of intangible cultural heritage in Chinese public libraries.It will promote the high-quality development of intangible cultural heritage in Chinese public libraries,and enhance the influence of Chinese culture.
