Relationship Between Social Support and College Students'Digital Addiction:A Meta-Analysis
[Purpose/Significance]Exploring the relationship between social support and college students'digital addiction is important for effective prevention and intervention of college students'digital addiction.However,there are inconsistencies between the results of empirical studies on the relationship.[Method/Pro-cess]This paper used meta-analysis method and random effects model to conduct a comprehensive analysis of 51 relevant empirical studies at home and abroad,so as to clarify the relationship between the two.And it explored the causes of the differences among the studies through heterogeneity test,subgroup analysis and meta-regression analysis to test the influence of moderating variables.[Result/Conclusion]The results show that social support has a moderately significant negative correlation with college students'digital addiction.Subjective support and family support are the most effective interventions for digitally addicted college students.Social support mea-surement tools and educational level significantly moderates the relationship between social support and college students'digital addiction.
