Chen Fei was a famous literati in the mid Ming Dynasty,who spent his entire life in the official-dom for decades.During his tenure,he was concerned about the people's suffering,cared about the people,and was diligent and honest in his administration,making him a prominent figure in politics.In the 36th year of the Jiajing reign,Chen Fei,who was over half a century old,served as the governor of Gansu.He went through various places such as Lanzhou,Zhangye,Jiuquan,Yumen,and Jiayuguan,and created a series of travel poems that sang about the scenery of Longyou and expressed his patriotism.These poems are often straightforward,embodying the strong and simple creative style of northern literati.They have high cognitive value and aesthetic significance,and are unique in Chen Fei's poetry creation,occupying an important position.
