The Famous Fujian Poet Xu Bi in the Qing Dynasty and His Tietang Poetry Series
In the early Qing Dynasty,the famous Fujian poet Xu Bi was exceptionally active in the Longyou poetry circle.Although he served as the Supervisor of Anding County for only three years,he won a high po-litical reputation and had a great social impact.He had extensive communication with famous poets in the po-etry industry at that time,and his poetic reputation spread far and wide across the country.The Tietang Po-etry Series vividly and truthfully records the life,social interactions,and inner world of Xu Bi,revealing the harsh social reality of that time,especially in his Longyou poetry creation,which recorded the poet's obser-vations and thoughts during his stay in Longyou,opening a window for us to understand the Longyou soci-ety at that time.
