Research on the Application of the Newly Revised Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China in Disciplinary Sanction Work
On December 8,2023,the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held a meeting and reviewed and approved the Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Commu-nist Party of China.This marks the third revision since the official promulgation and implementation of the Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China.On December 19,2023,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued the revised Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China.From the perspective of the revision content,this revision comprehensively implements the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party,strictly enforces General Secre-tary Xi Jinping's important speeches and discussions on strengthening party governance,and fully summa-rizes and actively responds to the experiences and issues arising from the anti-corruption struggle since the 19th National Congress.It emphasizes the connection and integration with other internal party regulations and legal provisions,serving as an important measure to improve and perfect the system and norms of the Party's self-revolution,providing strong support and guarantees for further strict enforcement of Party disci-pline and advancing the work of Party discipline construction.Implementing the newly revised Regulations requires us to fully understand the new provisions regarding disciplinary sanction work and accurately deter-mine the handling of newly added violations of discipline in the practice of disciplinary sanction work,clari-fying the relationships between several important concepts in supervision and discipline enforcement to en-sure precise application of the newly revised Regulations.
