During the Yan'an period,the CPC inherited the fine tradition of investigation and research,under the direct leadership of the Party Central Committee,under the guidance of Mao Zedong's investigation and re-search theory and personally promoted by Mao Zedong,carried out large-scale,planned and organized investiga-tion and research,and raised the investigation and research to a new height of the Party's style construction.At that time,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China established an investigation and research institution,issued and formulated investigation and research policies,and formed various investigation teams.The leaders of the Party and the border region government personally led the team to conduct investigations,collected and orga-nized a large amount of valuable information,and formed a batch of valuable research reports,which became an important basis for the decision-making of the Party and the border region government.In the practice of investiga-tion and research,the consciousness of Party members and cadres in investigation and research has been enhanced,the theory of Party investigation and research has been enriched,and a series of scientific investigation and research methods and experiences have been formed.Therefore,examining the historical facts of investigation and research during the Yan'an period,summarizing the scientific methods,pragmatic attitude,and spirit of seeking truth from facts of investigation and research during the Yan'an period,is a topic of positive practical significance.
