经世致用 技近乎道——从明代文人笔记看明式家具蕴含的时代文化

摘要
明代是个崇尚实学的时代,出现了中国传统设计的明式家具这一经典案例.通过对明代文人笔记的研究梳理可以看出,明式家具受到了海上贸易、传统技术、经济、文化等因素的影响,成就非凡.既有历史和技术发展潮流的必然性,又有时代政治、风尚影响的偶然性.在"经世致用"的时代精神影响下,明式家具首先满足了百姓日用的物质基础,进而又满足了文人的精神追求,将理性、秩序、内敛、自省等品格都物化在设计制作之中,成为时代文化精神的缩影.
Abstract
The Ming Dynasty is a pragmatic times, and its furniture,which is a perfect combination of technology and art, and now known as Ming Furniture, is the peak of ancient Chinese woodwork. Through researching the essays of the Ming Dynasty ,the author finds Ming Furniture is the result of a common action, including foreign trade, traditional technology, economy, and culture. The furniture met the needs of people as well as the aesthetic symbol of times.
