Research on Cross-screeners' Type from the Perspective of Mixed Method
In the era of mobile Internet, the rapid change of information environment and information technology leads to the evolution of user information behavior. The emerging and normalized cross screen behavior(CSB) reflects an important social and economic phenomenon, and cross-screeners' type research is also on the agenda. In view of the particularity and complexity of CSB, this paper combines exploratory interview with confirmatory structured diary methods to form a sequential design and triangulation method which are mixed with qualitative and quantitative research. Then the cross-screeners are divided into four types, that is, occasional cross-screener, ordinary cross-screener, professional cross-screener, and avant-garde cross-screener. The rich features of the cross-screeners' type are asymptotically sketch out. Finally, it is proposed that the cross screen service in mobile interconnection environment can be guided by the "classification service view" and seek the continuous improvement of the internal "literacy promotion" of cross-screeners, and the external "service supply" of cross screen service.
