Employment Support Services in American Public Libraries:Paths,Characteristics,and Implications
Based on online research,literature review,and case studies,this article explores the core pathways and main characteristics of employment support services provided by American public libraries.It attempts to propose some practical ideas for Chinese public libraries to provide employment support services,namely:to leverage the functions of provincial public libraries,to create a comprehensive platform for employment support services,to clarify the participating entities and their cooperation models,and to establish a feedback mechanism for service effectiveness.
