Research on Standards and Specifications Related to Electronic Resources in the United States
In recent years,the proportion of digital reading has been increasing,and it is a trend for libraries to provide more and more abundant digital resource services.However,there are still problems in the construction of public digital culture in China,such as insufficient connectivity in platform,management,and resources.To build a high-quality electronic resource management platform,it is necessary to establish sound standards as support.In order to provide references for improving relevant standards and specifications in China,offer support for the development of the electronic resource industry,this paper conducts research on the United States,which has relatively complete standards related to electronic resources,and uses the Making Good on the Promise of ERM:A Standards and Best Practices Discussion Paper as the main reference,and the world's leading implementing organizations as benchmarks,then analyzes the changes in important standards after the release of the white paper.
