Theoretical Introspection on Logical Progression of Digital Humanities'Development from the Perspective of Classical Documentation Science Construction
The main focuses of controversy in digital humanities include,but are not limited to,the uncertainty of its disciplinary positioning and legitimacy,the immaturity of its academic system,and the lack of methodology within the discipline.Among all humanities disciplines,ancient literature and digital humanities show a high degree of parallelism and similarity at several levels such as research objects and research goals,and have long faced questions about the discipline's positioning and legitimacy,the construction of academic systems,and the discipline's methodology.Based on the preliminary argumentation of the comparability of the two disciplines,the article analyzes what kind of useful inspiration the discipline construction experience of ancient literature can provide for the development of digital humanities,and reflects on the possibility of improving the theory of digital humanities under the guidance of the relevant paths.
