Development of Library Science Education in the Context of Public Culture:From Cross-border to Integration
This study reviews the practical advancement and theoretical research of public culture,describes the new opportunities for the development of librarianship education in the context of public culture,summarizes the attempts of librarianship to the cross-border and integration of public culture,and clarifies the grasp of the relationship between cross-border and integration.The study proposes that the future education of librarianship should take the sustainable development of culture as an important foothold,pay attention to the contemporary characteristics of the current educational objects,highly integrate the study of public culture into the construction of library disciplines,and cultivate talents in line with the needs of the times,the society and the industry.
