Research on Digital Literacy Education Practices in American University Libraries and Implications
American university libraries have rich experience in digital literacy education.Therefore,the article selects the top 100 universities in the U.S.university rankings to conduct a systematic research on the practice of digital literacy education,and summarizes the guiding framework,curriculum system,online resources,training activities,featured programs,practice platforms,and strategic planning of digital literacy education,so as to provide references for the digital literacy education in China's university libraries.University libraries in China should carry out digital literacy education by constructing a guiding framework with Chinese characteristics,emphasizing the construction of general and specialized courses,promoting the construction and sharing of online resources,improving the accuracy of training activities,creating a practice platform for emerging digital technologies,and formulating a sustainable development strategy,etc.
