Practice and Inspiration of Digital Inclusion in Foreign Public Libraries
The ultimate goal of digital inclusion is to bridge the digital divide and eliminate digital exclusion,so the study of digital inclusion in public libraries in the digital era has important practical significance and value.The article uses the methods of literature research and network survey to analyze the relevant studies on digital inclusion in public libraries,systematically combing the current situation of digital inclusion in public libraries in the United States,the United Kingdom,Australia,Singapore and other countries and summarizing its characteristics from the three dimensions of digital access,digital capacity and digital environment.It puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for the specific practice of digital inclusion in public libraries in China from the three aspects of giving full play to the functions of the government to promote the integration of digital inclusion development,paying attention to the cultivation of digital literacy,and promoting the equalization of the development of digital inclusion and formulating the strategy of digital inclusion according to the practice by giving due consideration to the attitudes and the social and cultural background.
