Implementation Dilemma and Resolution of Third-Party Assessment in Public Libraries
Third-party evaluation of public libraries reflects the modernization,scientification and democratization of public cultural governance.At present,the third-party evaluation of public libraries in China can be better implemented with"clear and reasonable evaluation process"as the main line of evaluation,"objective and scientific evaluation method"as the important support of evaluation,"public satisfaction"as the value orientation of evaluation,and"openness and meritocracy"as the selection of evaluation organizations.while there are some shortcomings,including the lack of independence of the assessment organizations,the need to improve the professionalism of the assessment,the lack of application of the assessment results,and the lack of a sound system of disclosure of information,and so on.The four-in-one development path of cultivation support,industry constraints,professional orientation,and multi-party synergy pays better attention to the growth of all parties,the standardization of the industry,the value of professionalism,and the synergy of work,which can break through the difficulties to a certain extent and promote the healthy and orderly development of third-party assessment work in public libraries.
