World Experience in the Development of Grass-roots Libraries in China:Retrospect and Prospect
For the development of grass-roots libraries in China,it is of great significance to refer to and learn from the world's pioneering experience,however,compared with city libraries and large libraries,grass-roots libraries face some special obstacles in absorbing the world experience.This article systematically reviews the research on global grass-roots library experiences within China's library community,examines the impact of these international experiences on local developments.In this regard,the article points out that in order to better introduce the world experience and promote the high-quality development of grass-roots libraries in China,it is necessary to take into account:the actual needs of the grass-roots level in China,an in-depth understanding of the background of the experience of other countries,the promotion of the professionalization of grass-roots libraries,and the establishment of the long-termism of the library.
