Service Scenarios and Paths of Future Learning Center Under the Background of Transforming Education
Global education development is currently in a severe and complex crisis,requiring an immediate transformation of the education system.University libraries,as crucial components of higher education and supporters of its prosperity,should proactively anticipate,embrace change,and adapt in a scientific manner.This paper selects the acknowledgments of 2,327 dissertations of master's and doctoral students for content analysis,outlines the service scenarios and paths of the future learning centers from the perspective of students,and proposes that the future learning centers will play the role of connecting students,libraries,and teachers.By clarifying the"five scenarios,six characteristics,seven utilities"of future learning center,proposing effective utilization of the"content,capability,and connectivity"triad,linking up pathways between participants and scenarios,it can provide reference for university libraries to build future learning centers that support the change of learning styles in the context of transforming education,and meet the requirements of transforming education and high-quality sustainable development of higher education.
