Medical radioactive isotopes can be used for diagnosis,treatment of diseases,and production of radiopharmaceuticals.With the attention of the country and the desire of the people,the field of medical radioactive isotope production will soon enter a period of rapid development.This article summarizes the production methods of medical radioactive isotopes and divides them into three categories:reactor,accelerator,and other methods.It focuses on the preparation methods and development status of medical isotopes such as 99Mo,125I,131I,177Lu,89Sr,18F,68Ga,and 225 Ac.Combining with the"Medium-to-Long-Term Development Plan for Medical Isotopes(2021-2035)"jointly published by eight ministries and commissions in 2021,this article provides a certain degree of summary of the current situation of domestic radioactive medical isotopes.It can provide researchers with development ideas for a period of time in the future and propose certain development trends and prospects based on the current development situation.
