A Polar Code Optimization Scheme Based on Spatial Coupling
Spatial coupling encoding is widely used for low-density parity-check codes, and the threshold used in BP(Belief Propagation)decoding can approach the maximum a posteriori probability.A polar code optimization scheme is proposed,in which spatial coupling encoding is used for polar code encoding to generate a checksum relationship between the code blocks of independent polar codes. In addition,a dual-layer decoding scheme using SCAN(Soft Cancellation)decoding and polar code BP decoding is employed to effectively improve the decoding error correction performance of short code-length spatial coupling polar codes in block transmission.
