4G网络系统间切换时延优化方法

在长期演进(Long Term Evolution,LTE)4G网络中,用户终端(User Equipment,UE)在4G与2G网络间移动时采用S1切换方法,并且在切换前,4G基站(eNodeB,eNB)需要提前查询2G的用户终端能力信息,包含2G的电路交换(2G Circuit Switched,GERAN-CS)能力和2G的分组交换(2G Packet Switched,GERAN-PS)能力.特别是4G语音用户在单语音呼叫持续(Single Radio Voice Call Continuity,SRVCC)或者CS语音回落(CS Fallback,CSFB)时会触发4G到2G的切换,这对时延要求更高,因此为了更好地提升切换感知和缩短切换时延,需要优化语音感知.提出了系统间切换时延的优化方法,对2G的UE能力查询进行差异化处理,节省了4G无线空口资源,并且提高了UE能力查询的效率,缩短了4G网络向2G网络切换的时延,提升了语音用户的体验.
4G Inter-RAT Handover Delay Optimization
In a LTE(Long Term Evolution)4G network,a UE(User Equipment)moves between 4G and 2G networks by using the S1 handover method.Before the handover,the 4G eNB(eNodeB)needs to query the 2G UE capability information in advance,including the GERAN-CS(Circuit Switched)capability and the GERAN-PS(Packet Switched)capability of the 2G network.In particular,4G voice users trigger 4G-to-2G handover on the SRVCC(Single Radio Voice Call Continuity)or CSFB(CS Fallback)network,which has higher requirements for latency.Therefore,to improve handover perception and shorten handover latency,voice perception needs to be optimized.The inter-RAT handover delay optimization method is proposed to differentiate the UE capability enquiry for 2G,saving 4G radio air interface resources and improving UE capability enquiry efficiency,shortening the handover delay from 4G networks to 2G networks,and improving voice user experience.
