The processing characteristics of the compounds and comprehensive performance of vulcanized rubber for four different grades of chloroprene rubber blends both at home and abroad have been compared systematically.The results show that among the three domestic grades of chloroprene rubber,SN232 grade chloroprene rubber has the best processing performance and comprehensive physical and mechanical properties,with a smaller heat bulid-up.By comparison,the comprehensive performance of domestically produced SN232 grade chloroprene rubber is closest to that of Japanese imported S40V grade chloroprene rubber,and it can be used as a substitute for imported S40V grade of domestically produced rubber.
