Solvent-polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber and silica formulations can provide tires with lower rolling resistance and higher wet skid resistance, but traditional plasticizers such as aromatic oils are containing carcinogenic benzene rings usually used in the formulation, which will seriously endanger human health and the environment. In this study, potassium oleate was selected as an environmentally friendly plasticizer to explore the effects of potassium oleate replacing aromatic oil on the Mooney viscosity, vulcanization properties, mechanical properties,anti-aging properties, dynamic mechanical properties and Payne effect of SSBR/BR/NR composites. The results showed that the Payne effect was the weakest and the Mooney viscosity was reduced by 6%;tensile product coefficient and aging coefficient increased by 5%and 8%;the processability of the rubber compound, the dispersion grade of the filler, the wet skid resistance and the rolling resistance were all optimal, and energy saving, environmental protection and cost reduction were realized simultaneausly.
