Influence of aromatic oil amount on migration of wax and ozone-aging resistance of sidewall
The influence of aromatic oil amount on the migration of wax was studied,and the ozone-aging and flex-fatigue resistance of sidewall were also discussed.The results showed the the aromatic oil increased the solubility of wax in rubber,which lowered the migration of wax to the surface of rubber.Neither higher nor lower aromatic oil amount was beneficial to the flex-fatigue resistance of sidewall composite.When the aromatic oil amount was 3 to 5 parts,the sidewall composite exhibited better flex-fatigue resistance due to good balance of the strength,flexibility of rubber chain and wax migration amount.
