Effect and Safety of Tension-free Hernioplasty with Hernia Ring Filling in Patients with Inguinal Hernia
Objective:To explore the effect and safety of tension-free hernioplasty with hernia ring filling in patients with inguinal hernia.Methods:A total of 82 patients with inguinal hernia admitted to our hospital from Febru-ary 2020 to October 2023 were selected,and were divided into the control group and the observation group according to different treatment methods,with 41 cases in each group.The control group received traditional hernia repair and the observation group received tension-free hernioplasty with hernia ring filling.The relevant surgical indications[opera-tion time,intraoperative blood loss,time of first ambulation],postoperative recovery[duration of pain,length of hospital stay],preoperative and postoperative stress levels[cortisol(Cor),angiotensin II(Ang-II)],and incidence of complica-tions were compared between the two groups.Results:The operation time,intraoperative blood loss,time of first ambu-lation,pain duration and hospital stay in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Be-fore the operation,there was no significant difference between Cor and Ang-II(P>0.05).After the operation,Cor and Ang-II in both groups were increased,which were significantly lower in the observation group than those in the control group(P<0.05);The incidence of complications in the observation group and the control group was 4.88%and 19.51%,respectively,which was lower in the observation group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of tension-free hernio-plasty with hernia ring filling in the treatment of patients with inguinal hernia can reduce intraoperative blood loss,shorten operation time,promote postoperative recovery,alleviate stress response,and lower the risk of complications,demonstrating significant effect and safety.
