Effect of High-flux Hemodialysis on Calcium-phosphorus Metabolism and Parathyroid Function in Patients with End-stage Renal Disease
Objective:To investigate the effect of high-flux hemodialysis(HFHD)on calcium-phosphorus metabolism and parathyroid function in patients with end-stage renal disease(ESRD).Methods:A total of 68 patients with ESRD admitted to our hospital from January 2019 to December 2022 were selected, and were randomly divided into high-flux group and conventional group, with 34 cases in each group. The conventional group was treated with con-ventional hemodialysis, and the high-flux group was treated with HFHD.Calcium-phosphorus metabolism,parathy-roid function, microinflammatory response, renal function and complications were compared between the two groups. Results:Compared with before treatment, the levels of calcium, phosphorus and parathyroid hormone(iPTH)in both groups decreased after treatment, while the levels in the high-flux group were lower than those in the conventional group(P<0.05);Compared with before treatment, the levels of tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α,interleukin(IL)-6 and C-reac-tive protein(CRP)were increased in both groups after treatment, while the levels in the high-flux group was lower than those in conventional group(P<0.05);Compared with before treatment, the levels of serum creatinine(SCR)and urea nitrogen(BUN)were decreased in both groups after treatment, while the levels of the high-flux group were lower than those of the conventional group(P<0.05);The incidence of complications in the high-flux group was lower than that in the conventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion:HFHD in the treatment of patients with ESRD can reduce the body's in-flammatory response, reduce the level of calcium-phosphorus metabolism, improve parathyroid function and renal func-tion,and reduce the incidence of complications.
