Application of Bed Cycling Exercise Combined with Feedback Intensive Education in Patients with Total Knee Arthroplasty
Objective:To evaluate the effect of bed cycling exercise combined with feedback intensive education in patients with total knee arthroplasty. Methods:A total of 100 patients who underwent total knee arthroplasty in our hospital from February 2021 to February 2023 were selected, and were randomly divided into a control group and a study group using a random number table method, with 50 cases in each group.During the hospital stay, the control group re-ceived conventional postoperative rehabilitation training, while the study group engaged in bedside bicycle exercise com-bined with feedback-enhanced education. The knee joint range of motion, motor balance function, and knee function be-tween the two groups on the next day of admission and the day before discharge were compared. Results:On the second day of admission, there was no statistically significant difference in knee range of motion between the two groups(P>0.05);the range of motion between the two groups on the day before discharge was improved compared with that on the second day of admission(P<0.05),and the study group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).On the second day of admission, there was no significant difference in the Oxford knee scale(OKS)scores and total scores between the two groups(P>0.05);on the day before discharge, the OKS scores and total scores of the two groups decreased(P<0.05),and the study group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Bed cycling exercise combined with feedback inten-sive education can effectively improve knee range of motion and functional recovery in patients with total knee arthroplasty.
