Effect of Emotional Intervention on Preoperative Negative Emotion in Elderly Cataract Patients Undergoing Phacoemulsification and Intraocular Lens Implantation
Objective:To studye the effect of emotional intervention on preoperative negative emotion in elderly cataract patients undergoing phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation.Methods:A total of 86 patients un-dergoging phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation in our hospital between March 2022 and March 2023 were selected,and were randomly divided into a control group and a study group,with 43 cases in each group.The con-trol group received routine intervention,while the study group received emotional intervention.The comfort level and psychological state were compared on the scheduled surgery day and at 1 h before surgery between the two groups.Re-sults:On the scheduled surgery day,there was no statistical significance in GCQ/HADS factors between the two groups(P>0.05).At 1 h before surgery,the GCQ and the total scores of the patients in both groups were improved,and the fac-tors and the total scores of HADS were decreased(P<0.05),and the GCQ and the total scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group.Conclusion:Emotional intervention can effectively improve the satisfaction of el-derly cataract patients with phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation.
