Effect of Progressive Nursing Mode on Self-efficacy and Hip Function Recovery of Elderly Patients Undergoing Total Hip Arthroplasty
Objective:To explore the effect of progressive nursing mode on self-efficacy and hip function re-covery of elderly patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty. Methods:A total of 60 elderly patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected, and were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received progressive nursing mode, which were both given nursing until 3 months after surgery.Self-efficacy,exercise tolerance, hip function and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Re-sults:The self-efficacy,exercise tolerance, hip function and quality of life before nursing were compared between the two groups(P>0.05);After nursing, the general self-efficacy scale(GSEs)score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the 6MWD of the observation group was longer than that of the control group. The scores of each dimension in the Harris hip function scale were higher than those of the control group, and the scores of each dimension in the WHO quality of life scale(WHOQOL-BREF)were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Progressive nursing mode can enhance the self-efficacy of elderly patients with total hip arthro-plasty,increase exercise tolerance, and improve hip function and quality of life.
