Effect of Personality Trait Psychological Counseling Intervention on Negative Emotions in Maintenance Hemodialysis Patients
Objective:To study the effect of personality trait psychological counseling intervention on negative emotions in maintenance hemodialysis patients.Methods:A total of 82 uremia patients treated with maintenance hemodialysis in our hospital from August 2019 to August 2022 were selected,and were divided into a control group and a study group using a random number table method,with 41 cases in each group.The control group received routine psychological nursing,while the study group received personality trait psychological counseling intervention.Negative emotions and treatment compliance of the two groups were observed at the time of enrollment and 3 weeks after inter-vention.Results:At the time of enrollment,there were no significant differences between the two groups in the factors and total scores of anxiety,depression,and hemodialysis compliance scale(P>0.05).At 3 weeks after intervention,the patients'anxiety,depression levels and total scores decreased,and the factors and total scores of the hemodialysis com-pliance questionnaire increased(P<0.05),and it was more significant in the study group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Person-ality trait psychological counseling intervention can effectively improve negative emotions of hemodialysis patients and enhance treatment compliance,making it worthy of clinical promotion and use.
