青少年参加体育兴趣班的健康效应研究

利用青少年健康主题数据库的调查数据,采用OLS回归、工具变量法、中介效应检验法等,从身体健康、心理健康、自评健康三个维度实证检验参加体育兴趣班对青少年健康的影响及作用机制.研究发现:青少年参加体育兴趣班具有健康效应,体现在参加体育兴趣班对青少年体质健康得分和自评健康具有显著的正向影响,对精神症状自评得分具有显著的负向影响;中介机制检验发现参加体育兴趣班是通过促进青少年参加课余体育活动进而提高其体质健康得分、自评健康和降低其精神症状自评得分;异质性分析发现参加体育兴趣班影响青少年健康不存在性别及城乡差异,但参加体育兴趣班提高初中生体质健康得分的效果更明显,提高高中生自评健康的效果更明显.
Health Effects of Adolescents Participating in Sports Interest Classes
Based on the survey data from the adolescent health theme database,OLS regression,instrumental variable method and mediating effect test are used to empirically examine the effects and mechanisms of participating in sports interest classes on adoles-cent health from three dimensions:physical health,mental health and self-assessed health.The paper finds that adolescents'partici-pation in sports interest classes has a health effect,which is reflected in the fact that participation in sports interest classes has a sig-nificant positive effect on adolescents'physical health scores and self-assessed health,and a significant negative effect on the self-as-sessed scores of psychiatric symptoms;the mediating mechanism test finds that participation in sports interest classes improves ado-lescents'physical health scores and self-assessed health scores,and reduces adolescents'self-assessed scores of psychiatric symp-toms through the promotion of adolescents'participation in extracurricular physical activities.Heterogeneity analysis finds that there are no gender and urban-rural differences in the impact of participating in sports interest classes on adolescents'health,but the effect of participating in sports interest classes on improving the physical health scores of junior high school students is more obvious,and the effect of improving the self-assessed health scores of senior high school students is more obvious.
