Integrating Chinese sports spirit into socialist core values education in colleges and universities is of great significance in ser-ving a strong sports nation and cultivating talents to take on the great responsibility of national rejuvenation.The research holds that the integration of Chinese sportsmanship into socialist core values education in colleges and universities has the target value of helping the construction of a strong nation and realizing the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,the main value of carrying forward the nation-al spirit and shaping the character of the nation,the core value of spreading the traditional culture and enhancing the soft power of culture,as well as the fundamental value of implementing the principle of"cultivating the moral character and educating the people in ideological and political education".Accordingly,the following rationale is explored for the integration of Chinese sportsmanship into the education of socialist core values in colleges and universities:adhere to the theoretical guidance of the main position and build the main channel of classroom teaching;integrate practical education resources and build the second classroom nurturing platform;en-hance cultural self-confidence,excavate the essence of the excellent traditional Chinese sports culture;strengthen the system con-struction and build the education mechanism of socialist core values in colleges and universities.
