Generation Mechanism,Multiple Orientations and Visionary Outlook of Economic Effect of International Sports Organization Headquarters
International sports organizations(ISOs)and their host cities are symbiotic,co-prosperous and mutually oriented.Cities provide policies and spaces for ISOs,and ISOs give unique kinetic energy to the development and prosperity of cities.Introducing the theoretical framework of headquarters economy,and using the AISTS data on the economic effects of international sports organiza-tions in Lausanne for 16 years as a benchmark,the paper investigates the generation mechanism and practical orientation of the head-quarters economic effects of international sports organizations.The results show that the economic effects of the headquarters of the international sports organizations are mainly tangible and intangible effects,of which the tangible effects include regional economic growth,employment increase,tourism development,and building upgrading,while the intangible effects include talent increase,popularity enhancement,pride enhancement,and sports environment improvement.Comparative analysis of the three different pha-ses reveals that the economic effects generated show a trend of gradual growth,which is consistent with the development trajectory of international sports organizations.In the future,cities and international sports organizations need to continue to expand the economic effect,create high-quality tourism service effect,shape the global effect and make use of the legacy effect,so as to better promote the integrated development and common prosperity of cities and international sports organizations.
