Kurahasisozo's Ideology on Preschool Children Sports Game Education
With the research methods of literature review and logical analysis,the paper examines the foundations,core contents,and practical implications of Kurahashi's idea of early childhood movement and play education,the father of early childhood education in Japan.The paper concludes that Kurahashi's idea of early childhood movement and play education is based on the naturalistic and pragmatic view of education,his personal observation of early childhood education and teaching practice,and his rethinking of the problem of Japan's early childhood education mechanically imitating the West.The core content of Kurahashi's idea of early child-hood sports and play education is systematic,the goal view of education advocates the development of the nervous system,physical health,and large muscles,the content view of education advocates that sports and play become the life of the young child and empha-sizes free play,the method view of education puts forward the method of self-enrichment,guidance of enrichment,and the method of induced progression,and the environmental view of education believes that the natural resources are the best boon for the physical and mental health of the young child.The practical implications of Kurahashi's ideas on early childhood movement and play educa-tion include taking life education as the starting point to lead the development of early childhood movement and play activities,avoi-ding the specialization of young children's motor skills according to the laws of motor development,emphasizing the depth of experi-ence in the process of young children's movement and play,and reserving natural space in kindergarten environments for young chil-dren's movement.
