Governance of Athletes'Personal Information with Blockchain Technology
Based on the blockchain technology architecture and characteristics,the value,challenges and their responses to the appli-cation of blockchain technology to the governance of athletes'personal information are explored.The paper concludes that the gov-ernance of athletes'personal information under blockchain technology can overcome the problems of cumbersome storage of athletes'personal information,insufficient utilization and lagging protection under the traditional Internet model.At the same time,it also faces challenges such as conflict with the mechanism of"informed-consent",contradiction with the necessary rules of personal infor-mation processing,conflict with athletes'exercise of the right of deletion,correction and information portability,and difficulty in determining the subject of civil liability.In this regard,the smart contract should be optimized and improved to realize the athletes'right of"informed-consent",differentiate between the different aspects of blockchain information governance,and examine the"nec-essary processing"respectively,promote blockchain technology innovation to eliminate the conflict between the athletes'right to de-lete,right to correction and right to information portability,and actively plays the role of federation chain to determine the civil lia-bility subject through its polycentric characteristics.
