Temporal and Spatial Distribution Characteristics of Forestry Carbon Sinks in Provinces,Regions and Cities of Mainland China Under the Background of Low Carbon
This paper points out that global climate change leads to frequent extreme climatic events, under the circumstance of imminent global greening,China actively contributes to this process as a part of the world, the central government has made a major strategic decision of"Carbon Neutralization"and"Carbon Peak",the goal of"Carbon Neutralization"by 2030 is already in sight, and forestry carbon sink are an important part of China's efforts to develop carbon sink.Based on the total amount of forest carbon sink in 31 provinces, regions and cities of mainland China from 2003 to 2020,the spatial autocorrelation of forest carbon sink is analyzed by Moran index, and the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of carbon sink in mainland China are revealed according to the results. The results showed that:firstly,in terms of time, the forest carbon sink showed a trend of steady improvement from 2003 to 2020;secondly,the spatial pattern is generally high in the west and low in the east;thirdly,it can be seen that there is an obvious spatial agglomeration phenomenon of forestry carbon sink in provinces, regions and cities of mainland China, and this phenomenon mainly occurs in the northeast and west. This paper analyzes its influence factors of temporal and spatial distribution characteristics and puts forward some suggestions which can make Chinese forestry carbon sink sound and balanced development.
