Based on statistical data and a survey on R&D institutions of industrial enterprises above designated size in Shanxi province,analysis on the building status of R&D institutions of industrial enterprises above designated size in Shanxi province is conducted from the perspective of R&D institutions quantity,funds,output,projects,personnel and so on,and outstanding problems are dissected.Recommendations on promoting the building of R&D institutions for industrial enterprises above designated size are proposed according to actual requirements in Shanxi province.It will be used as an intelligence support for the construction and development of enterprise R&D institutions and as a reference for government to make policies.
