As an important historical and cultural city,Taiyuan has many ancient and valuable trees that distributed in it.To further enhance the protection of ancient and valuable trees in Taiyuan City,based on visiting and researching to the Taiyuan Planning and Natural Resources Bureau and the Taiyuan Landscape Architecture Bureau,as well as a field work to ancient and valuable trees in some counties in Taiyuan City,this paper introduces the status quo of the protection of ancient and valuable trees in Taiyuan City,analyzes the main existing problems,and puts forward some targeted protection measures,hoping to provide reference for the protection of ancient and valuable trees in Taiyuan City.
