Research on the Mechanisms of Platform Enablement on Digital Transformation of SMEs
Digital transformation is an inevitable choice to improve the innovation ability of enterprises and maintain their vitality and competitive advantages.Small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs)are faced with the transformation problems of"unwilling to turn,not daring to turn,not knowing how to turn,and not being able to turn".Platform enablement can make up for the shortcomings of SMEs in terms of resources and capabilities when they carry out digital transformation.Based on the TOE framework,this paper analyzes the influencing factors of SMEs'digital transformation,and discusses the important roles of digital platforms in value co-creation,innovation promotion,cost reduction and efficiency improvement from the aspects of data enablement and ecological enablement.Based on the above research,the countermeasure suggestions for SMEs to comply with the development trend of digital transformation under the perspective of platform enablement are proposed.This paper enriches the research related to platform enablement digital transformation and provides theoretical guidance for SMEs to promote digital transformation.
