Morphology and Development of Internal Reproductive Organs of Non-overwintering Male Adult Kallima inachus
In order to study the morphology and development of the reproductive system of male adult Kallima inachus, the internal reproductive system of different ages are dissected and observed. The results show that the internal reproductive organs of the male adult Kallima inachus include two testis, two seminal vesicles,a pair of vas deferens,a pair of ejaculatory duct duplex,an ejaculatory duct simplex and a pair of accessory gland. The long diameters and short diameters of the testes and seminal vesicles increase first and then decrease with age;the length and basal end width of the vas deferens,as well as the length and maximum width of the accessory glands, increase first and then stabilize with age;the length of the ejaculatory duct simplex, the length and basal end width of the ejaculatory duct duplex, gradually increase with age.
