Analysis of Quality Control and Related Testing Standards for Exposed Glue Roots in Binding Books
This paper points out that compared to the 1990s,the printing quality of modern books has steadily improved, and problems such as loose pages, page dropping, broken back glue, film bubbles, and paper discoloration have been effectively controlled. However, the phenomenon of exposed glue roots in binding books occasionally occurs, becoming a problem that troubles the printing industry. In response to this problem, this paper combines the actual binding production process, introduces the relevant testing standards for book core blocks and back glue, analyzes various reasons for the quality defects of exposed glue roots, proposes targeted solutions, adjusts and optimizes relevant process parameters, improves production processes under special circumstances, improves product quality, reduces the risk of product repair, saves printing enterprises'time costs, and improves economic benefits.
