By constructing a regional sci-tech innovation evaluation index system that is suitable for the situation of Jilin Province,this paper evaluates the current development status of sci-tech innovation in 9 cities(prefecture)in Jilin Province.The results show that Changchun,the provincial capital city,ranks first in terms of sci-tech innovation capability,and its evaluation value is much higher than other cities(prefecture);Jilin City has strong investment and output capabilities in sci-tech innovation,the sci-tech innovation environment in Liaoyuan City is relatively superior;enterprises in Tonghua City have strong sci-tech innovation capabilities;Yanbian Prefecture has advantages in terms of sci-tech innovation performance and enterprise innovation.Therefore,regional science and technology innovation evaluation can timely,objectively and accurately reflect the development status of regional innovation ability.
