Application of Image Processing Technology in Underwater Surface Crack Detection of Concrete Dams
This paper points out that concrete dams are important structures in water conservancy and hydropower engineering;during their service, cracks of varying degrees may form due to long-term water flow erosion or structural settlement;timely and accurate identification of cracks is an important means to control the continued expansion of cracks and prevent safety accidents in dams. Therefore, this paper adopts image processing technology to solve the problems of low contrast and poor imaging quality in underwater images through a series of operations such as denoising, enhancement, segmentation, and recognition, aiming to provide reference for the scientific development of crack detection in water conservancy and hydropower engineering dams.
