This paper points out that the stability of an embankment directly depends on the stability of the foundation,and the shaking of the foundation will seriously threaten the normal operation of the embankment.It is necessary to deeply recognize the crucial importance of foundation stability.This paper is based on the actual situation of the embankment in Liaobu Town,and conducts a detailed study on the geological characteristics of the embankment reinforcement project,and explores its stability in depth.Through various technical means such as geological exploration,data integration,laboratory analysis,and numerical simulation,the geological structure,geotechnical characteristics,and key factors affecting the stability of the embankment are comprehensively analyzed.Based on these research results,corresponding reinforcement plans are developed and their effectiveness is verified through practice.
