This paper mainly elaborates on the application and future development prospects of big data in the field of smart transportation planning and construction,summarizes the current mainstream smart transportation planning and construction solutions and countermeasures,proposes that the key to smart transportation planning and construction,lies in data monitoring and mining,and it is necessary to focus on breakthroughs in data mining efficiency and accuracy,and use this as a support to propose strategies of building a management system for smart cities.
