Impact of Industrial Cluster on Ambidextrous Product Innovation——Moderating Effects of External Social Capital
Aiming at the problems that the extant study on industrial cluster and innovation ignores the type of product innovation,and lacks the distinction between the internal and external social capital,this study integrates learning view and resource dependence view theory and analyzes 333 effective questionnaires to explore the impact of industrial cluster on ambidextrous product innovation and bridging ties'moderating effect.This study results,based on multiple hierarchical regression analysis,shows that,industrial cluster has positive effects on exploitative but negative on exploratory product innovation;bridging ties positively moderated the relationship between industrial cluster and exploitative product innovation,and exerts negative effect on the relationship between industrial cluster and exploratory product innovation.
