This paper employs methods such as literature review,mathematical statistics,and video observation to analyze the competition and athletic prowess in men's artistic gymnastics at the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games.It provides a comprehensive examination of the Asian men's gymnastics landscape,taking into account new rules,and offers strategic recommendations for China's preparation for the Paris Olympic Games.The study reveals:(1)China's men's gymnastics team excelled at this Asian Games,securing first place in both the medal and gold medal standings,thus reaffirming China's status as a gymnastics powerhouse in Asia.(2)In the team competition,China demonstrated a distinct advantage in the still rings and parallel bars,leading by a significant margin in total scores,which proved pivotal for winning gold.(3)The all-around event was fiercely competitive,with China and Japan dominating the top four positions,underscoring top talent reserve depth in both countries.(4)Individual events showcased a diverse field,with emerging gymnastics nations entering an era of intense competition.Preparation Strategy Recommendations:Actively adapt to the new rules of the Olympics in Paris,ensuring a thorough understanding and utilization of the rules;balance the coordinated development of difficulty and quality,comprehensively enhancing athletes'competitive strength;intensify the development of outstanding all-around athletes to strengthen the depth of reserves for top-level athletes.
